About Pastor Michelle Thomas
Pastor Michelle Thomas, then known formally known as Pastor Michelle Rogers, began her faith journey as an altar worker at St. Augustine’s St. Martin’s Episcopalian Church in Boston, MA. With an initial aspiration to become a nun, she found herself deeply committed to serving others from a young age.

Pastor Michelle Thomas’s ministry journey reflects a steadfast commitment to outreach, hope, and healing, offering a powerful message of faith to all who encounter her.

​1997-2016: Throughout these years, Pastor Michelle received prophetic words and confirmations about her call to pastoral ministry. After a period of fasting and prayer, she accepted the call to become Pastor of Outreach at Tree of Life Apostolic Faith Church.

1994-1997
In February, Pastor Michelle received salvation and was baptized at Holy Tabernacle Church in Dorchester, MA, under the leadership of Bishop Joel L. Smith. This transformative moment was further solidified in 1995-96 when she was baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Michelle immersed herself in ministry, serving in various roles. She joined the church choir and engaged in street outreach, shelter ministry, and prison outreach at South Bay Correctional Institute and Framingham Prison. She also collaborated with Prison Fellowship and Angel Tree Ministry, led Bible study groups, conducted 5 a.m. community prayer meetings, and established a single-parent ministry and an adult singles ministry. Her work as an altar minister further demonstrated her passion for outreach and deliverance ministry.
1997:
Pastor Michelle was licensed and ordained as Reverend Michelle Thomas, officially stepping into the office of Evangelist. She began actively exercising her gifts of prophecy, healing, and deliverance.

Pastor Michelle founded Elpida Ministries, a ministry dedicated to spreading hope. This platform offers online Christian resources, including Bible study guides, daily devotions, blog posts, prayer resources, and salvation information. Elpida Ministries reaches its audience via WordPress, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, and Twitter.
Under the guidance of Apostle Elizabeth Mason, Pastor Michelle launched “HOPE RECOVERY,” a Christian Recovery Ministry at Tree of Life Apostolic Faith Church, Inc. This ministry combines biblical scripture with evidence-based practices to support individuals in developing a stronger spiritual foundation during recovery.
Pastor Michelle was officially ordained as the Pastor of Outreach at Tree of Life Apostolic Faith Church, Inc.

Pastor Michelle accepted the role of Protestant Chaplain at South Bay House of Correction, providing weekly worship services, spiritual counseling, communion, Bible study, baptisms, and handling death notifications.
2020-24
Pastor Michelle began hosting online Sunday worship services using Zoom and Social Media outlets as a request of ex-offenders who attended her worship services in MA.. She is also serving as a voluntary chaplain at Laurel of Chatham, providing monthly Bible studies for residents.
