God Grows What We Cannot Yet See

Have you ever felt like you've been praying, believing, and trusting God, but nothing seems to be happening?

You keep showing up. You keep being faithful. You keep planting seeds through prayer, obedience, and perseverance. Yet when you look around, it feels like there is no evidence that anything is growing.

One of the lessons God continually teaches us is that growth often happens beneath the surface.

A farmer does not dig up a seed every day to see if it is growing. He trusts the process. He understands that what is happening underground is just as important as what eventually appears above the ground.

Our faith journey is much the same way.

There are seasons when God is working in ways we cannot see. He may be developing our character, strengthening our faith, healing old wounds, or preparing us for a blessing we are not yet ready to receive.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us:

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Notice that Scripture does not say we might reap a harvest. It says we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

  • Maybe today you are waiting for healing.

  • Maybe you are waiting for direction.

  • Maybe you are waiting for a breakthrough in your family, finances, ministry, or personal life.

Whatever season you are in, don't mistake God's silence for His absence.

Just because you cannot see growth does not mean growth is not happening.

  • Keep praying.

  • Keep believing.

  • Keep trusting.

The seed is still in the ground, and God is still at work.

This is one of the many faith-building lessons found in my book, Seeds of Faith: A Journey Toward Spiritual Growth and Wholeness.

My prayer is that it encourages you to trust God's process and remain faithful until your harvest comes.

Remember: God grows what we cannot yet see.
